Hand Stitching and Yarncraft 2023 Review 11th January 2024

The members of the Hand Stitching and Yarncraft group primarily enjoy handcrafts that involve needlework and soft craft materials such as fabrics for quilting and appliqué, embroidery including cross-stitch and Hardanger, weaving, knitting and crochet.

We share our skills amongst the group and also occasionally enjoy whole group projects, such as each person contributing their sewing skills to create a special piece of jointly created craft.

We do have a sewing machine, a Sizzix die cutting machine, an iron and board and cutting mats, all purchased by U3A and available for group use. Electrical items are annually PAT tested as required.
