Members of Stone U3A Hand Stitching and Yarncraft have recently taken part in a project at Lichfield Cathedral which is hosting the Jubilee Oak ‘Table for the Nation’. (https://www.lichfield-cathedral.org/.../fenland-black-oak... )

The aim is to create a table runner 13m long by combining the textile art skills of schools, community groups, local businesses and individuals. We have decorated squares of material that will be joined together by The Fabric Vault to make the runner.

Membership costs just £50 per year and this allows you to attend as many groups as you like, for free*. That equates to less than £1 per week.

*Some groups may request a contribution towards refreshments.
