We have 4 sessions of relaxed and social bowling each week during the summer season, from April to September:
- Bowling A - Monday from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon
- Bowling B - Monday from 12.00 noon until 2.00 pm
- Bowling C - Tuesday from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon
- Bowling D - Tuesday from 12.15 until 2.15 pm
The pavilion has facilities for making refreshments but most members bring their own. Equipment can be borrowed free of charge so not having a set of woods isn't a problem though many people do eventually buy their own.
Levels vary from absolute beginners to experienced players and advice is freely available in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Andy Cowan, the National Crown Green Bowling Subject Advisor, visited in 2022 and he can be seen in the photograph of the group.
It might be possible to arrange coaching for novices by Andy in the future; Please enquire via the group leader who can co-ordinate arrangements.
